Man faces intoxication assault charge after 5 injured in collision

AUSTIN (KXAN)– A man faces a felony charge after a collision Saturday night injured five people in north Austin, sending them all to the hospital.
Joseph Towery, 66, faces one count of intoxication assault after his car collided with another car on Dessau Road and Childress Drive Saturday around 11:45 p.m.
