Man dies in Highway 71 crash

AUSTIN (KXAN)- A man in his 30’s died Monday morning after a two-car crash on eastbound Highway 71. Austin-Travis County EMS says the crash happened around 3:15 a.m. on 71 near Navarro Creek Road. That’s located at the Nland Surf Park. It’s about three miles east of State Highway 130. EMS says a woman was taken to South Austin Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. EMS says roads are currently closed so be careful driving in the area.
