Man dies after hitting garbage truck in Central Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are investigating a crash that killed a man on Koenig Lane and Woodrow Avenue.
A private company was picking up trash in the area just east of Burnet. Another car hit the garbage truck killing the driver at the scene around 3:19 a.m.
Koenig Lane has reopened at Grover Avenue to Woodrow Avenue.
