Man deported five times since 1998 charged in deadly hit and run crash

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Mexican immigrant in the U.S. illegally despite being deported repeatedly is facing murder and other charges in the traffic-collision death of a Los Angeles woman, the Southern California News Group reported.
Estuardo Alvarado, 45, is accused of killing Sandra Duran, 42, in a T-bone collision while fleeing the scene of another crash on the rainy afternoon of Feb. 19 in North Hills.
