Man crossing E. William Cannon hit, killed by several vehicles

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man in his 50s died after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night on East William Cannon Drive.
Detectives with the Vehicular Homicide unit are investigating the crash which happened just west of Interstate 35 in the 800 block of E. William Cannon just after 9:00 p.m.
Police said the man was not in a crosswalk when he was hit in the eastbound lane and thrown into oncoming traffic in the westbound lane. They are not certain how many cars hit him.
