Man critically injured in southwest Austin stabbing

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was critically injured after a stabbing in southwest Austin, Friday night.
Austin-Travis County EMS say a man in his 20s has a life-threatening stab wound. At 9:44 p.m., police were called to Smith Oak Trail, just south of where the U.S. 290 freeway ends. The man was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
A second ambulance at the scene could possibly take a second patient to the hospital.
