Man critically injured in South Austin trench collapse

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man is in the hospital with critical injuries after a trench collapsed in South Austin on Saturday morning.
The Austin Fire Department and Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the incident at the Flagstone Terrace Condominiums in the 6900 block of Deatonhill Drive just north of West William Cannon Drive and west of Manchaca Road at about 9:56 a.m.
