Man critical after being shot in southeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are investigating after a man was sent to the hospital with a gunshot wound Wednesday night in southeast Austin.
It happened in the 6300 block of Riverside Drive near Montopolis Drive just before midnight. Police say the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
As of 2 a.m. Thursday morning, police don’t know if it was self-inflicted.
