Man creates backyard nativity scene from recycled materials

CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) — A Cedar Park man has turned his backyard into a giant nativity scene, and in the spirit of Christmas he has opened it up for the public to enjoy as well.
Jorge Villanueva spent three years creating the nativity village all out of recycled materials like styrofoam, stucco and old Barbie dolls. Villanueva says he was inspired by his grandfather who built his own nativity scene. After his grandfather passed, Villanueva decided to continue the tradition 2 years ago.
