Man charged with deadly conduct after security scare at downtown hotel

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Department of Public Safety says 61-year-old Stanley Price was arrested and charged with deadly conduct following reports of a gunman on the fifth floor of the DoubleTree hotel in downtown Austin. There were no injuries reported.
Troopers responded to the hotel, located at 15th St. and Lavaca, right around 12:20 p.m. Monday afternoon after receiving a call of a man with a gun at the hotel.
