Man accused of murdering A&M student from Austin

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KXAN) — What started out as an argument between a couple ended with a 21-year-old Texas A&M student shot to death.
Victor Manuel Garcia-Loyo, 22, is in custody believed to have killed his girlfriend, Maricarmen Quiroz-Octaviano, of Austin, on Sept. 16. College Station police were called to the 400 block of Anderson St. after reports that someone had been shot. Arriving officers searched the apartment and found Quiroz-Octaviano dead.
