AUSTIN (KXAN) -- We continue to monitor a tropical low in the Gulf of Mexico with a high chance of further development over the next 24 hours.Potential for a tropical depressionAs of Monday morning, the National Hurricane Center have increased the odds that our wave turns into a tropical depression to 80%. If a tropical depression were to form, it would likely do so in the western Gulf, just before pushing ashore into Texas.
