LIVE: Suspect in Florida school shooting in custody; numerous fatalities reported

PARKLAND, Fla. (AP/KXAN) — A shooting at a Florida high school Wednesday sent students rushing out into the streets as SWAT team members swarmed in and locked down the building.
The local NBC News affiliate showed video of what appeared to be a suspect in custody at the school not far from Fort Lauderdale. The Broward Fire Department reports more than 20 injured and Congressman Bill Nelson says he’s learned from officials on the scene there are multiple fatalities.
