Leander ISD offices, schools will open late Wednesday due to weather

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Leander ISD announced their offices and schools will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3 due to the inclement icy weather in Central Texas.
“We would like to encourage our team members to use caution and good judgment when driving to work,” the school district said in a message on Facebook. “Please contact your supervisor if roads on your route to work are unsafe.”
Leander ISD posted they expect to welcome students back as planned on Thursday.
