Lawsuit to remove Williamson Co. DA from office dismissed

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — The lawsuit aimed at removing Williamson County District Attorney Jana Duty from office has been dismissed.
Judge John Dietz’s decision Wednesday means Duty will serve the remainder of her term, which ends on Dec. 31. She lost her reelection bid to prosecutor Shawn Dick in March.
