Larry Jackson manslaughter case will be heard by federal appeals court

LOUISIANA (KXAN) — A federal appeals court will hear arguments in the manslaughter case involving former Austin police officer Charles Kleinert.
A Texas Grand Jury indicted Kleinert from manslaughter in July 2013. Before the case went to trial, a federal judge dismissed it. Now, the state is appealing.
