Lake Travis ISD school board names interim superintendent

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Lake Travis Independent School District school board in a special meeting on Wednesday named Dr. Steve M. Flores as interim superintendent.
This comes after the board voted to remove former superintendent Paul Norton earlier this month. Norton was placed on paid leave back in December after allegations of misconduct, according to the district.As a result of Norton's dismissal, Pam Sanchez became the acting superintendent while LTISD conducted its search for a replacement.
