Irma weakens to tropical storm, wind damage, flooding spread into GA, SC

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Record storm surge flooding was being reported in Jacksonville, FL Monday afternoon as Irma moved out of the state.
Even though Irma was a weakened tropical storm, damaging wind gusts were being reported in Georgia and flooding in South Carolina. Millions remained with out power in Florida Monday afternoon, as outages spread into more states.
