Injured hawk rescued by Austin firefighters, now recovering

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A hawk is soaring toward recovery after she was caught in a kite string snagged in a tree along the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail Tuesday.A KXAN viewer reached out after witnessing the Austin Fire Department rescue the injured hawk.
