Illegal gambling investigation leads authorities to home in Hutto

HUTTO, Texas (KXAN) — Austin police SWAT members along with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office served a felony warrant Monday morning leading to a brief standoff with a barricaded subject.
Several people in the Star Ranch neighborhood in the 1200 block Augusta Bend Drive reached out to KXAN about the activity they said had been happening since around 7:30 a.m. Residents reported hearing several loud bangs during the commotion.
