Hurricane Irma makes two U.S. landfalls today as a major hurricane

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Hurricane Irma has just made its second landfall in the U.S. at Marco Island, Florida at 3:35 p.m. eastern as a Category 3 hurricane with sustained winds of 115 mph and gusts up to 130 mph.
