Hurricane Ian now in the southeast Gulf getting stronger

FLORIDA (KXAN) — Hurricane Ian made its first landfall in western Cuba early this morning as a major Category 3 storm packing winds of 125 mph. It is now in the southeastern Gulf where strengthening is already occurring with winds now back up to 120 mph.
