Hundreds in Austin still without power almost 24 hours after storms
AUSTIN (KXAN) — After violent storms ripped through Austin, around 30,000 customers reported outages. Austin Energy says about 97 percent of their customers do have lights back on, but the other 3 percent could be out until Wednesday, blaming trees falling into power lines and in some cases, electric poles snapping in half.
