Humidity rises as heat only eases slightly

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Temperatures continue to march toward triple digits, albeit with a somewhat delayed start given some of the cloud cover this morning and higher humidity in the air.We expect highs in Austin to end up in the 102-104º range later today, coming close to the hottest May day in Austin area history (104º).An Extreme Heat Warning continues until 9 pm, the highest alert level for heat used by the National Weather Service. Temperatures may exceed 110º in parts of the Hill
