Human skeletal remains found in southeast Travis County

AUSTIN, (KXAN) — Human skeletal remains were found in south Travis County at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Kristen Dark, Travis County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson.
TCSO is on the scene at 11300 Maha Loop Road.
Dark said they believe the remains have been there for an extended period of time but they have no way of knowing how long at this time. The investigation into the circumstances are underway and they say the death is suspicious.
