How long cold rain sticks around

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Following some sunshine earlier today, high temperatures remained locked in the 50s in Austin through the afternoon -- our coldest day in three weeks. Another storm system is moving into the area tonight, thickening clouds and bringing the return of chilly, light rain showers.Rain this evening through the overnight will generally be light as the system battles dry air in the low-levels, but a couple of lightning strikes and the sounds of rolling thunder cannot be ruled out.
