Hot, windy Wednesday with high fire danger as tornado threat ends

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A confirmed tornado touched down in rural northwestern Williamson County at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, then crossed into Bell County and dissipated around 6:10 p.m. before crossing a busy I-35.
