Hostages in Dallas-Fort Worth area synagogue out alive and safe, Gov. Abbott says

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- After an hours-long hostage situation at the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue near Dallas-Fort Worth on Saturday, all of those who were being held are out alive and safe, Gov. Abbott says.
One hostage, a man, was released shortly after 5 p.m. local time and is not injured, the Colleyville Police Department reported.
That likely leaves three hostages inside the synagogue, including its rabbi, according to information provided by law enforcement officials to The Associated Press
