Help needed: Animal shelters prepare for incoming ice storm

AUSTIN (KXAN) — With impending freezing temperatures, freezing rain and sleet expected Thursday, there's one special group local animal shelters want to make sure are taken care of.
"Keep that pet out of the shelter and into a safe, warm home," said Austin Pets Alive! Community Relations Officer Suzie Chase.
