Heavy rains damage I-35 ramp to SH 45SE

BUDA, Texas (KXAN) — Drivers in Hays County experienced more delays than usual after the Texas Department of Transportation abruptly closed a ramp on Interstate 35 to State Highway 45 Wednesday.
TxDOT officials say the amount of rain the area has seen this year ended up causing moisture to build and saturate the ramp between the retaining walls from northbound I-35 to SH 45 Southeast and SH 130. Crews tried to repair the problem before Labor Day but the problem still exists, forcing the em
