Hays, Caldwell Counties re-upgraded to high risk from COVID by CDC

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Hays and Caldwell Counties have been re-upgraded to high risk for COVID-19 by the CDC, just a week after being downgraded.San Saba County jumped from low to high risk in the newest weekly update.Meanwhile, Blanco, Fayette and Milam Counties were all downgraded from high to medium risk.Each week since Feb. 24, the CDC has assigned a "COVID-19 Community Level" to every county nationwide based on how the virus is impacting local populations.
