Halloween shooting victim considered a ‘hero’

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A Sunday Halloween party that ended with a shooting left one man dead and three others injured. A person calling 911 said the suspect was dressed as Santa Claus.
“Advise the police — this is a [Halloween] costume party — the one with the pistol is dressed like Santa Claus,” the caller told the 911 dispatcher according to the arrest affidavit. “This guy is out of control.”
