Gun pulled on student walking to Lanier High School

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A student was walking on Collinfield Drive to her North Austin high school Tuesday morning when a man with a gun got of a car and demanded her cell phone.
The Austin Independent School District says the student then showed the man she didn’t have a phone. The man, and three other men with him, left the area.
Unharmed, the student ran to campus, located at 1201 Payton Gin Rd., and reported the incident. Austin police were called at around 6:30 a.m. Authorities say
