Georgetown ISD opens its newest middle school

GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — Students at Georgetown Independent School District’s Wagner Middle School finally got to move into their new school after the Thanksgiving weekend.
The new school, located at 1621 Rockridge Ln., was slated to open in August but construction delays forced the open date back to the end of November. Since the start of the school year, the middle school students were housed at the WIlliams Elementary campus since the building was vacant.
