Freezing cold temperatures, but dry roads in the morning

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Temperatures warmed above freezing nearly everywhere Thursday afternoon, allowing icy bridges and overpasses to melt. As drier north winds blow in overnight, any remaining moisture should be scoured from the air and the roadways, limiting additional icing concerns going forward.Thursday morning's commute brought icy conditions responsible for more 100 crashes in the Austin Metro area, at least 13 of which were rollovers.
