(NEXSTAR) — Former MLB pitcher Octavio Dotel is reportedly among the dozens who have died after the roof of an iconic nightclub collapsed early Tuesday morning in the Dominican Republic.As of early Tuesday afternoon, the death toll had climbed to 44, authorities in the capital city of Santo Domingo said. More than 160 others were initially said to have been injured when the roof collapsed during a merengue concert.
