Florence man dies when car he’s working on crushes him

FLORENCE, Texas (KXAN) – A man was crushed to death in Florence on Sunday after a mishap with a vehicle he was working on, said Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody in a tweet.
Sheriff Chody said that a lift jack failed while the man was underneath the vehicle, pinning him and causing fatal injuries.
The death is being investigated and Chody said there were no other details available at this time.
