Fleeing Dallas driver gets airborne during wild police chase

DALLAS (KXAN) — A wild police chase with a suspected thief ended dramatically Thursday afternoon in the Metroplex.
The chase started in Dallas and soon the DPD chopper joined as the robbery suspect fled in a stolen vehicle.
The driver lost control of the SUV while cutting across a large median; the vehicle careened through several signs and narrowly missed hitting several other vehicles before it slammed into a fence.
Officers rushed the car with their guns drawn and arrested the driver.
