Fire destroys Southeast Austin mobile home

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A family of five was displaced from their home after it was destroyed by a fire Saturday afternoon.
The Austin Fire Department responded to a fire just after 2 p.m. in the 5400 block of Friedrich Lane. The first trucks got to the home within four minutes and found a heavy fire at the front of the house and extending inside.
