Final input needed on conceptual design for Shipe Pool

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Before remodeling starts, the Austin Parks and Recreation Department wants public input on the completed conceptual design for Shipe Pool.
The 80-year-old Shipe Pool was identified as a “critical pool” by the city in 2014. The department determined if no repairs were made to the pool, it would functionally fail within the next five swim seasons.
