Fallout from San Marcos High grade-fixing scandal continues

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) — A second staff member at San Marcos High School has resigned over a grade-fixing scandal.
Last month, Principal Kelli Lopez stepped down after admitting to changing grades for more than 100 students over the course of the past two years. Shortly after that news came out, the superintendent for San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District said there were others involved in changing grades under Lopez’s leadership.
