Ex-Texas driver’s license worker took bribes, gets 18 months

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A former Texas Department of Public Safety worker must serve 18 months in prison for accepting bribes to help people in the U.S. illegally get a driver’s license.
Jose A. Ytuarte was sentenced Thursday by a federal judge in San Antonio. Ytuarte in March pleaded guilty to use of an interstate facility in aid of unlawful activity — bribery.
