Escaped SC inmate captured overnight in Cedar Park

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A South Carolina inmate who escaped from prison there while serving a life sentence for kidnapping an attorney has been arrested in Central Texas after three nights on the run.
The U.S. Marshals Office says they were conducting surveillance of Jimmy Causey, 46, at a Motel 6 at 800 Arrow Point Dr. in Cedar Park, after receiving information from authorities in South Carolina about his location. With the help of the Texas Rangers and several other law enforcement agencies, aut
