Educators working to get students ready for kindergarten

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Educators have been working on kindergarten readiness and how Pre-K plays a big role in preparing for the classroom.
E3 Alliance found Texas is consistently hitting slightly above 50 percent when it comes to kindergarten readiness. However, last year there was a huge drop bringing the number down to 41 percent. Now, the Texas Association of Business is hosting a Pre-K conference on the issue.
