Driver killed in fiery crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) – A man is dead after an early morning car crash in East Austin.
It happened just after 12:30 Sunday in the 7500 block of Cameron Road.
Police say a man in his mid-30s took a curve too fast, drove his car into the median and then into a tree. The car burst into flames.
Officers and medics with Austin-Travis County EMS got to the scene and put the fire out.
EMS pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
No one else was in the car.
