Driver accused of speeding recklessly through MoPac construction zone

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A driver who is accused of driving at a high rate of speed through a barricaded area where construction workers were working has been charged with evading arrest.
On Sept. 19, around 9:15 p.m., Austin police received a call about a driver, identified as Willie Williams, 39, on the wrong side of the marked barricades going southbound on North MoPac near Northwood Road.
