Dripping Springs elementary says ‘no’ to homework

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas (KXAN) – A school project presented by a fourth-grade student last year has prompted a complete change in the way teachers at Walnut Springs Elementary School view homework.
Beginning this year, Julie Pryor, the principal of the school created a ‘no homework’ policy. Pryor says by eliminating homework it has actually made students more curious to learn outside of school on their own.
