Drink up Texas it’s Wine Month

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Not only does October bring scary costumes and pumpkins, you should also grab a bottle of wine to go along with that stash of Halloween candy you’re hiding from your kids.
It’s Wine Month in Texas. Now is the time to go out and explore everything Texas wine has to offer.
There are about 50 wineries in the Hill Country alone. If you would like a taste of all of them try the Texas Wine Month Trail. It runs through Oct. 31 and tickets start at $40 per person, or $7
