DPS says Hays sophomore killed in Buda crash lost control, spun into oncoming lane

BUDA, Texas (KXAN) — A 16-year-old girl who was a sophomore student at Hays High School is dead after a two-vehicle crash just south of downtown Buda, the school district said. Two other females in the other vehicle, ages 57 and 16, were taken to the hospital.
Brynn Aylor, a member of the Hays Rebel softball team, was identified as the victim in the crash in a letter sent by Hays CISD to parents and staff.
