Dozens stranded behind flooded northwest Austin road

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Around 50 cars are stranded behind a low water crossing on Spicewood Springs Road in northwest Austin.
A KXAN Viewer says she has been stuck for around 2 hours with dozens of other drivers. The fire department is at the scene monitoring the situation.
Trucks are being allowed to move through the low water crossing.
The road is notorious for its dangerous low water crossings following heavy rain. In June, the body of a man swept away in flood water was found near Spicew
